Job summary

Reserve Bank of Australia is seeking a Senior Network DevOps Engineer for a fixed-term contract until 31 October 2026. You will apply DevOps and IaC practices with Terraform to modernise on-premises networking infrastructure, including security hardening and capacity planning.

You will collaborate with the Network Services team, manage incident response for network infrastructure, and work with cyber security to improve protections across data, storage, and communications systems.

Qualifications

• Experience applying DevOps principles to network domains and IaC with Terraform.
• Strong background in enterprise Cisco networks and firewall management.
• Degree in IT with recognised Cisco and ITIL certifications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide expert network services, troubleshooting, and improvements.
• Implement automation and IaC for provisioning and hardening.
• Support security monitoring, incident response, and capacity planning.
• Collaborate with cyber security teams to remediate vulnerabilities.
