Job summary

Reserve Bank of Australia in Sydney is seeking a Team Lead for Network Services to lead a senior‑level group of engineers, drive automation and IaC initiatives, and guide strategic network initiatives across the enterprise.

You will balance people leadership with hands-on delivery, partner with Principal Engineers, and ensure secure, reliable infrastructure while mentoring senior staff and aligning with ITIL and DevOps practices.

Qualifications

Extensive experience leading Network Engineering, Infrastructure, Platform, or DevOps teams in complex enterprise environments.
Deep technical knowledge of enterprise networking, including Cisco technologies, firewalls, and modern network infra.
Strong hands-on experience with Network Automation, IaC, and DevOps practices.
Proven experience with tools such as Ansible, Python, Git, CI/CD pipelines and automation platforms.
Experience driving automation and programmable infrastructure to improve ops efficiency.
Proven leadership across network design, architecture, implementation, security hardening, and ops support.
