Job summary

Australian Securities Exchange (ASX) in Sydney, NSW, is seeking a .Net Engineer for Clearing Risk Platform on a daily rate contract. You will work with a team to build scalable .NET services, ensure robust data models, and drive automated testing and observability.

Hybrid/onsite work with a strong emphasis on DevOps, CI/CD, and cloud-aware practices. Must-have skills include C#, REST, SQL Server, and ORM experience.

Qualifications

• Solid experience building service-based applications in C# or equivalent OO language.
• Solid experience with REST-based service hosting framework (ASP.NET/SpringBoot).
• Strong understanding of relational databases and SQL (SQL Server preferred).
• Experience with an ORM framework (EF Core, Dapper, Hibernate, etc).
• Experience working in Agile delivery environments.
• Understanding of DevOps concepts and tooling.
• Experience with automated and unit testing concepts and frameworks.
• Working knowledge of xUnit.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain high-quality, scalable systems aligned with enterprise engineering standards.
• Ensure data solution designs adhere to CI/CD, governance, quality, and security practices.
• Collaborate with product team to support business vision and uplift current platform.
• Implement automation and standardized configuration management to accelerate delivery.
• Develop logging, monitoring and observability across environments.
