Job summary

ASX is a leading Australian securities exchange and data hub, offering a dynamic engineering environment. In this role you’ll build and maintain scalable .NET services, align with enterprise standards and collaborate with a cross-functional product team.

You’ll drive automation, improve logging and observability, and grow as a subject-matter expert in .NET tooling and modern DevOps practices within hybrid working arrangements.

Qualifications

• Solid experience building service-based applications in C#.
• REST-based hosting frameworks (ASP.NET, SpringBoot).
• Relational databases and SQL (SQL Server preferred).
• ORM frameworks (EF Core, Dapper, Hibernate).
• Strong collaboration and communication skills.
• Experience in Agile delivery environments.
• Understanding of DevOps concepts and tooling.
• Knowledge of automation testing and unit testing.
• Working knowledge of xUnit.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain high-quality, scalable systems that align with enterprise engineering standards.
• Ensure data solution designs adhere to CI/CD, governance, quality and security.
• Work with experienced engineers to uplift current platform and introduce new products.
• Support accelerated delivery by implementing automation and standardized configuration management.
• Become a subject matter expert in .NET engineering tools, frameworks and practices.
• Collaborate with the product team to support business vision.
• Build and embed automated testing and validation.
• Support logging, monitoring and observability practices.
