Job summary

Australian Securities Exchange is seeking a skilled Business Analyst to join the Clearing Risk Platform team in Sydney. You will collaborate with stakeholders to document business requirements, model processes, and map data flows, supporting a smooth transition to target states within a regulated market infrastructure.

The role requires strong BA fundamentals, 5+ years of experience across SDLC, and proficiency with JIRA/Confluence.

Qualifications

• 5+ years dedicated business analysis experience on Agile, Lean and Waterfall projects.
• Experience on Tier 1 projects across the full SDLC from ideation to BAU.
• Strong understanding of business analysis fundamentals.
• Experience gathering stakeholder needs and translating to detailed requirements.
• Experience in business process modelling with MS Visio or similar.
• Proficiency with Atlassian tools (JIRA, Confluence).

Responsibilities

• Act as a practitioner/advocate within the BA Capability CoP.
• Perform gap analysis on As-Is vs To-Be states with stakeholders.
• Elicit, analyse and document business requirements (epics, stories, acceptance criteria).
• Map process flows, data flows and lifecycle events for transitions to target state.
• Collaborate with project teams and IT solution providers on progress and outcomes.
• Support test scenarios and contribute to Test Strategy and change management.
