Job summary

Ndeva is seeking a mid-level to senior .NET engineer to join on a 6-month contract with possible extension. You’ll refactor legacy .NET services, design APIs, and coordinate work across teams in a modernising environment. Expect to work with AWS, Docker, React, and TypeScript, and to mentor junior developers.

Role requires strong .NET fundamentals, API design experience, and willingness to engage in frontend tasks when needed. A collaborative, ownership-driven culture is emphasized.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of .NET experience and strong fundamentals.
• Experience designing APIs and background processing.
• SQL Server and/or PostgreSQL experience.
• Ability to own your scope and explain technical decisions.
• Familiar with AI tools in daily workflow.
• Open to front-end work when required.

Responsibilities

• Build and refactor .NET services and APIs as the monolith is broken up.
• Design HTTP APIs and background processing for new apps.
• Propose technical options and justify choices.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business workflows.
• Assist with front-end work (React, TypeScript, Node) when needed.
• Mentor juniors and promote good engineering practices.
• Highlight backend details: C# / .NET, Entity Framework; Cloud: AWS, Docker; Frontend: React, TS, Node.
