Job summary

Our Client in Brisbane is seeking a skilled Motor Mechanic to join their engineering and automotive workshop. You will work on service, maintenance and repair of engines and mechanical parts, diagnosing faults and responding quickly to breakdowns while following brand specifications.

Essentials include an AQF Certificate III in automobile trade (or equivalent) with at least two years of relevant experience; up to three years can substitute. Full-time role with a strong salary and superannuation.

Qualifications

• Hold AQF Certificate III in automobile trade or equivalent.
• At least two years of similar occupation experience; three years may substitute.
• Ability to work unsupervised and follow brand specifications.
• Ability to troubleshoot and work proactively as part of a team.
• Proven experience in service, maintenance and repair engines and mechanical parts.
• Disassemble and reassemble engine parts after repair.
• Sound experience in fault finding and fast breakdown response; hydraulics/pneumatic experience will be highly regarded but not essential.
