Job summary

Amentum seeks a LAND 6504 Modelling and Simulation SME to provide expert advice across modelling, capability analysis and simulation support for acquisition activities. The role involves developing FPS-based requirements, conducting simulations, and presenting findings to Defence stakeholders from our Canberra-based team.

Applicants should have 6+ years’ Defence-related experience, NV1 clearance (NV2 preferred), and be able to work five days a week at Brindabella Business Park.

Qualifications

• Minimum NV1 clearance with ability to obtain NV2.
• Must work from Brindabella Business Park five days per week.
• Minimum 6 years’ experience, preferably within Defence.
• Experience in complex acquisition projects.

Responsibilities

• Identify capability systems and performance measures within LAND 6504.
• Analyse technical, operational and simulation data from Defence, Industry and stakeholders.
• Develop and maintain modelling and simulation requirements for capability.
• Conduct threat, engagement and operational simulations to assess effectiveness.
• Lead modelling and simulation trade studies across architectures and solutions.
• Present outcomes and recommendations to Defence governance forums.
