Job summary

Talent in Canberra, Australia, is seeking a Senior Mobile Developer to lead the design, build and delivery of large-scale React Native applications for iOS and Android, with TypeScript and exposure to native layers.

You'll work in an Agile team across the full mobile SDLC, focusing on security, accessibility and maintainability, with hybrid work options and three days in the office per week.

Qualifications

• Extensive React Native and TypeScript experience across iOS and Android.
• Strong experience bridging React Native to native iOS/Android code.
• Experience with Expo and Expo Modules is valuable.
• Strong understanding of accessibility standards (WCAG 2.1).
• Experience with automated testing and REST/GraphQL APIs.
• Experience with modern CI/CD and DevOps practices.

Responsibilities

• Designing, building, deploying and supporting React Native applications across iOS and Android.
• Bridging React Native with the native mobile layer, including Kotlin, Java, Swift and Objective‑C.
• Integrating mobile applications with REST, GraphQL, authentication and performance/metrics APIs.
• Working with UI/UX and QA teams across accessibility, automated testing and end‑to‑end quality.
• Participating in code reviews and contributing across technical design, development, deployment and long‑term maintenance.
