Optus, a leading Australian telecommunications company, is seeking an Senior Technical Specialist to lead Mobile Core Signalling initiatives. You will design robust, secure, and scalable signalling solutions for 3G/4G/5G, align roadmaps with strategic objectives, and ensure high network performance and resilience.

You will define future-state architecture, drive platform evolution, and collaborate with vendors to maintain competitive advantages while upholding ICT and cyber security standards

Qualifications

• Subject-matter expertise in the Mobile Core Signalling domain.
• Strong architectural and development principles knowledge.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder influence.

Responsibilities

• Develop and design technology solutions within the Mobile Core Signalling domain.
• Define future-state architecture and roadmaps for scalable platforms.
• Create platform documentation covering system interfaces and data flows.
• Own the signalling platform lifecycle from design to upgrades.
• Ensure solutions meet ICT, information, and cyber security standards.
