This senior role directs mine planning, geology, and surveying, drives safety, efficiency, and performance, and reports to the Technical Services Manager. You will mentor a high-performing team, ensure statutory and company standards compliance, and collaborate with operations, projects, and corporate functions to deliver technical excellence and sustainable

Formación

• Tertiary qualifications in Mining Engineering, Geology, or related discipline.
• Proven leadership experience in open-cut coal mining operations.
• Strong knowledge of mine planning, design, and scheduling software.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Responsabilidades

• Lead and develop the Technical Services team to achieve operational and strategic goals
• Oversee mine planning, design, and scheduling to optimise production and resource recovery
• Provide technical expertise and support to operations, ensuring compliance with statutory and company standards
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives in safety, productivity, and cost efficiency
• Collaborate with stakeholders across operations, projects, and corporate functions
• Ensure accurate and timely reporting of technical data and performance metrics
