Job summary

WesTrac is seeking a Mining Support Manager for our Resource Industries team in New South Wales, focusing on the Hunter Valley and Mudgee regions. This senior leadership role manages strategic customer relationships and drives aftermarket growth, working to optimise fleet performance and achieve favourable PA and TCO outcomes for Caterpillar mining equipment.

Qualifications

• Senior leadership and team management experience in mining, resources or heavy equipment sectors.
• Proven ability to manage strategic customer relationships and contracts.
• Strong commercial acumen with track record in delivering business outcomes.
• Proven influence and credibility with internal and external stakeholders.
• Deep understanding of fleet performance, PA and TCO principles.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain trusted relationships with senior customer stakeholders across multiple mining operations.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to negotiate and deliver mutually beneficial outcomes.
• Drive aftermarket, technology and service growth by identifying and executing site strategies.
• Optimize fleet performance through proactive management of PA, TCO and continuous improvement.
• Lead, coach and develop a high-performing team with a safety-first culture.
• Oversee site performance, budgets, forecasts and commercial agreements to drive growth.
