Job summary

Scotford Fennessy is seeking a senior FP&A professional to join the ASX-listed gold producer, based in Subiaco, WA. You will lead budgeting, forecasting and performance analysis across operations, partnering with site stakeholders and driving commercial insight.

You will develop models using mine plans and schedules, prepare P&L and KPI reporting, and support capital decisions with NPV and payback analysis. A CPA/CA and interstate travel are required.

Qualifications

• Senior FP&A or management accounting experience within mining or resources.
• Experience partnering with operational, technical and site-based stakeholders.
• Strong understanding of mining cost drivers, budgeting, forecasting and performance analysis.
• Advanced financial modelling and Excel capability.
• Ability to interpret operational and financial information and communicate the underlying story clearly.
• Experience preparing analysis and recommendations for senior stakeholders.
• ERP and business intelligence reporting experience.
• CA or CPA qualification.
• Willingness to undertake regular interstate site travel.
• Current driver’s licence and full Australian working rights.

Responsibilities

• Lead annual budgets, rolling forecasts and performance analysis across the business.
• Develop financial models using mine plans, production schedules and operating assumptions.
• Prepare site P&L, unit-cost and KPI reporting including cost-per-tonne and AISC.
• Provide analysis and commentary to operational, technical and finance stakeholders.
• Support capital investment decisions through scenario modelling, NPV and payback analysis.
• Review stockpile and metal accounting information and assist quarterly reporting.
