Job summary

Scotford Fennessy is seeking a commercially minded Management and Systems Accountant for a West Perth office. You will manage financial and management reporting, budgeting, and capex across global mining projects, with exposure to international site teams and JV partners.

Based in Perth, you will drive process improvements, system enhancements, and automation initiatives, supported by Pronto and JDE ERP. This role combines hands-on accounting with strategic finance improvements and stakeholder

Qualifications

• Experience in mining, resources and project-based environments.
• Background across financial reporting, budgeting and capital project accounting.
• Proven stakeholder engagement and business partnering capability.
• Experience improving processes, systems or ways of working.
• Strong communication skills and ability to influence across levels.
• Self-directed with attention to detail in accounting.

Responsibilities

• Prepare financial and management reporting across projects.
• Lead budgeting and forecasting cycles for annual planning.
• Provide capex analysis and support capital project accounting.
• Drive cash call reporting and forecasting with JV partners.
• Partner with global stakeholders and drive finance process improvements.
• Support system enhancements and automation initiatives.
