Job summary

SLR Consulting Australia Pty Ltd in Perth is seeking a Principal Engineering Consultant for Mining Advisory. You will provide technical and project advisory across feasibility studies, lender engagements, due diligence, and major mining projects.

The role requires extensive senior engineering experience in mining, asset management, maintenance, and project delivery, with leadership in multidisciplinary teams and a willingness to travel domestically and internationally.

Qualifications

• Extensive mining engineering experience across asset management, maintenance, infrastructure, project delivery or leadership roles.
• Experience supporting mining operations, site leadership teams, or major mining projects.

Responsibilities

• Advisory & Evaluation: Deliver financial, commercial, and technical assessments across mining studies, lender advisory engagements, due diligence reviews, and investment evaluations.
• Project Delivery: Lead and contribute to advisory projects, ensuring delivery to scope, schedule, budget, and quality.
• Client Engagement: Build trusted relationships with clients and stakeholders across technical, operational and executive levels.
• Reporting & Recommendations: Prepare, review, and present technical reports and recommendations supporting financing and project decisions.
• Business Development: Support growth through client relationships, proposals, tenders, and identifying opportunities.
• Leadership & Mentoring: Mentor consultants and contribute to technical excellence and knowledge sharing.
