Job summary

SLR Consulting is seeking a Principal Engineering Consultant - Mining Advisory based in Perth to provide technical, operational and project advisory across feasibility studies, lender advisory engagements, due diligence reviews and independent technical assessments for mining and infrastructure projects.

You will work with mining companies, financiers and investors, shaping investment decisions while leading multidisciplinary teams and contributing to business development and knowledge sharing

Qualifications

• Tertiary qualification in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
• Registration as a Professional Engineer under Western Australia scheme or eligibility.
• Minimum 10 years of mining industry experience in engineering, maintenance, asset management or project leadership.

Responsibilities

• Advisory & evaluation of mining studies, lender engagements, due diligence and investment assessments.
• Lead and contribute to advisory projects delivering scope, schedule, budget and quality.
• Engage with clients and stakeholders; communicate complex information to technical and executive audiences.
• Prepare and present reports and recommendations supporting financing and project development decisions.
• Support business development through proposals, tenders and identifying new opportunities.
• Mentor consultants and drive technical excellence and continuous improvement.
