Gold Fields invites a seasoned Planning Engineering leader to head the Planning Engineering Departments across multiple underground operations at St Ives. You will drive mine planning activities to deliver safe, efficient, and cost-effective extraction, from short-term implementation through to medium-term Life of Mine strategy.

Qualifikationen
- Tertiary qualification in Mining Engineering or equivalent.
- Extensive underground mining experience with gold exposure.
- Experience developing operationally ready mine designs and schedules.
- Strong leadership across multidisciplinary teams.
- Proficient in mining software including Deswik.CAD, Deswik.Sched and Ventsim.
Aufgaben
- Develop and implement comprehensive mine plans to optimize gold recovery.
- Collaborate with technical and operational teams to improve performance.
- Regularly review and update mine plans aligned to annual objectives and LOM strategy.
- Monitor KPI's and mining costs, identifying and implementing improvements.
- Provide leadership, mentorship, and development opportunities to team members.
- Communicate with senior management on production forecasts and KPIs.
- Foster continuous improvement and innovation in mine planning processes.
