Job summary

Northern Australia Infrastructure Facility is seeking a Senior Associate, Applications Specialist (Microsoft 365) to join our Information Technology team in Cairns or other Northern Australia locations.

You will administer and support the Microsoft 365 environment, implement security controls, and work with stakeholders to deliver modern digital workplace solutions that enable staff to work securely and efficiently across our regional footprint.

Qualifications

Experience administering and supporting Microsoft 365 in enterprise, government, or corporate environments.
Strong knowledge of Entra ID, Intune, Exchange Online, SharePoint, OneDrive, Teams, and Dynamics 365.
Experience with Microsoft Purview for information protection, compliance, data governance, and retention management.
Knowledge of endpoint management, device compliance, and identity/access practices.
Minimum three years of experience supporting Microsoft 365.

Responsibilities

Administer and support Microsoft's 365 platform, including Exchange Online, Outlook, SharePoint, OneDrive, Teams, Intune, Entra ID, Dynamics 365, Power Platform, Azure.
Manage user identities, access permissions, licensing, and device compliance.
Support security controls (MFA, Conditional Access, Defender, data protection).
Configure and manage Purview information protection, retention policies, and compliance controls.
Provide Level 2/3 support for Microsoft 365 issues and collaborate with external partners.
Assist with design, development, and deployment of 365 and Power Platform solutions.
Support integrations between Microsoft 365 and enterprise systems.
Monitor performance, availability, usage, and security; document procedures and guides.
Collaborate with stakeholders, vendors, and MSPs on projects; contribute to cyber security initiatives.
