Job description

Job Category: Mining, Resources and Energy

Bellevue Gold Limited (ASX:BGL) operates its 100% owned high-grade Bellevue gold mine in Western Australia. The Bellevue mine has a long mine life and is forecast to produce ~150,000 Au ounces a year.

Underground mining has occurred since late 2020 to establish multiple mining fronts that de-risks production with exploration in progress to expand the current high-grade resource.

The Bellevue Gold Mine is located approximately 30km north of Leinster township and sits in a major gold, lithium and nickel producing district. The Company has a highly skilled management team with a track record of exploration success and operating major gold mines.

Bellevue Gold has achieved its ambitious goal of net zero greenhouse gas emissions for the Bellevue Gold Project. This milestone has been underpinned by a sector-leading renewable energy power station, designed to deliver approximately 80-90% renewable energy penetration and support Bellevue’s position as a low-carbon gold producer.

Bellevue Gold’s vision is to be a sustainable gold mining company that delivers value for shareholders, benefits local communities, and fosters a thriving workplace. Through its values-based leadership approach, the Company is committed to building a high-performance organization that delivers superior shareholder returns and positive ESG outcomes. We seek to foster an energetic and collaborative work culture that attracts and retains exceptional employees.

  • Analyse plant performance data to ensure operations are meeting metallurgical, production, and budget expectations, providing insights and recommendations as required.
  • Identify, define, and implement continuous improvement initiatives to optimise plant and metallurgical performance. This includes close collaboration with the Processing, Mining, and Geology teams.
  • Develop and contribute to short, medium, and long-term planning for the Processing Department.
  • Provide technical leadership and oversight to the onsite laboratory, ensuring accurate, reliable, and timely assay and sample data to support plant operations.
  • Supervise, mentor, and develop the metallurgical team (plant, project, and graduate metallurgists), ensuring high standards of data collection, analysis, and reporting.
  • Develop, implement, and maintain safety and operational policies and procedures, ensuring compliance and promoting a strong safety culture across the team.
  • Contribute to our Operators’ knowledge and understanding of processing and metallurgy through coaching and open communication.
  • Lead or contribute to capital project development and implementation, including coordinating test work programs, plant trials, and technical evaluations.
