Job summary

Clough Limited, delivering Snowy 2.0 in the Snowy Mountains of NSW, seeks a Senior Project Engineer – Mechanical to lead end-to-end delivery of potable water, water purification, firefighting, HVAC/ventilation and lifts. You will manage drawings, testing, commissioning, and client handover, ensuring safety, quality and performance.

The role requires coordinating multidisciplinary interfaces, reviewing technical submissions, and maintaining alignment with Australian Standards and project controls

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or equivalent.
• Significant experience delivering mechanical systems on major infrastructure projects.
• Experience managing systems from shop drawings through installation, testing, commissioning and handover.

Responsibilities

• Lead review and coordination of mechanical shop drawings, technical submissions, MRAs, equipment data sheets, RFIs and design clarifications.
• Ensure compliance with approved design documentation and applicable Australian Standards.
• Coordinate interfaces with electrical, controls/BMS, fire detection, civil, structural, architectural and BIM teams.
• Identify and resolve design gaps, clashes and site constraints before installation.
• Manage and coordinate subcontractors and site teams during construction and installation.
• Conduct site inspections, monitor progress and ensure work aligns with drawings, ITPs and quality requirements.
