Job summary

Lycopodium is seeking experienced Senior Mechanical/Piping Designers for our Perth-based team. You will support piping design across projects, ensuring schedules and budgets are met and liaising with clients, vendors and internal teams.

The role requires experience with OpenPlant, Modeller and PID, and a strong construction-focused mindset. Join a global company delivering high-quality engineering and project services.

Qualifications

• 6+ years’ experience in design/drafting within the resources sector
• Piping design experience in mineral processing plants
• Experience in OpenPlant, Modeller and PID
• Strong communication and stakeholder engagement
• Attention to detail and meeting deadlines

Responsibilities

• Provide professional support to the piping design team for project deliverables
• Ensure project schedules and man-hour budgets are met
• Demonstrate understanding of fabrication and construction techniques in the materials handling industry
• Produce plant layouts from preliminary project data and design information
• Review vendor drawings and design data
• Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to meet design criteria
• Travel on an ad-hoc basis as required
