Mineral Resources Limited is seeking a Senior Mechanical Engineer to provide engineering expertise across design, equipment selection, fabrication, installation and day-to-day project management at our Western Australia sites.

You will steward technical standards, create specifications and support delivery with a focus on safety, reliability and efficiency for large-scale mining projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor/Master level Mechanical Engineering degree or equivalent.
• Minimum 5+ years in mechanical engineering with mining/large construction projects.
• Experience from design through commissioning in mining projects.
• Knowledge of materials handling, pumps, and piping sizing.
• Experience with conveyor design and process design criteria.

Responsabilités

• Provide engineering expertise for design, equipment selection, fabrication and installation.
• Develop and maintain technical standards, specs and delivery systems.
• Lead safety in design reviews and cross-disciplinary collaboration.
• Oversee PFDs and P&IDs completion and review.
• Coordinate with internal/external designers and suppliers.
• Assist with procurement and material quantities for projects.
