Job summary

Interquip, a division of MACA Ltd, is seeking a Mechanical Engineer with 5+ years of post-qualification experience to support an engineering team in Perth, WA. The role focuses on mechanical calculations for conveyors, crushing and milling equipment, tender submissions, and procurement packages for mineral processing projects.

You'll collaborate with engineers, project managers and construction managers, providing technical input for proposals and maintenance processes to improve asset

Qualifications

• Sound written and verbal communication skills including presentation skills.
• Good interpersonal skills with people at all levels.
• Five (5) plus years post tertiary qualifications experience.
• Previous experience in a mineral processing environment.
• Drafting package experience or exposure.
• Mechanical design package experience or exposure.

Responsibilities

• Assisting Engineering Team, Junior Engineers, Project Managers and Construction Managers.
• Provide technical support and assistance for project proposal submissions.
• Mechanical equipment calculations including conveyors, crushing, and milling equipment.
• Assist in maintenance management systems and processes to optimise plant and equipment availability and reliability.
• Assists with Mechanical equipment tender submissions, tender analysis / reviews, assist with preparation of procurement packages.
