Qualifications

• Australian-recognised degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• RPEV registration mandatory, with CPEng highly regarded.
• Solid understanding of mechanical engineering principles and multidisciplinary collaboration.
• Experience in aluminium smelting or heavy industrial manufacturing.
• Proactive, customer-focused approach delivering value to Worley and Alcoa.

Responsabilités

• Deliver high-quality mechanical engineering solutions meeting safety and project requirements.
• Manage and support engineering activities across the project lifecycle from concept to commissioning.
• Provide technical advice, deliver engineering outputs, and tackle complex operational challenges.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, contractors and stakeholders for successful outcomes.
• Lead mechanical workstreams or projects when required and mentor developing engineers.
• Drive continuous improvement with a focus on safety and quality.
