Job summary

GHD is seeking a Senior Mechanical Engineer (HVAC) in the ACT region. You will lead HVAC design for complex projects, oversee mechanical engineering design for HVAC, BMS and electrification solutions, and mentor junior staff within a multidisciplinary team across NSW/ACT.

Qualifications

• A relevant university degree in Mechanical Engineering
• 7–15 years experience in HVAC within a consulting environment
• Familiarity with NCC and Australian Standards
• Proficient with Revit, Bluebeam and heat load software (Camel, HAP)

Responsibilities

• Lead HVAC design for complex projects and provide expert technical guidance
• Oversee mechanical engineering design for HVAC, BMS and electrification solutions
• Contribute to projects across NSW/ACT including national/international locations
• Mentor junior team members and support career development
• Develop and maintain strong client relationships
• Support a collaborative, high-performing design team
