Job summary

GHD is seeking a Senior Mechanical Engineer (HVAC) for NSW/ACT to lead multidisciplinary projects from design to delivery. Based in Sydney, Newcastle, Canberra or Wollongong, you will shape high-profile buildings and provide expert guidance across HVAC, BMS and electrification solutions.

You will mentor junior staff, collaborate with engineers and designers, and contribute to projects across diverse sectors while developing within a global technical team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor level or higher qualification in Mechanical Engineering.
• Membership of Engineers Australia and working toward professional registration is desirable.
• Experience in HVAC systems within a consulting environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead high-profile building projects and shape the built environment.
• Oversee mechanical design for HVAC, BMS and electrification projects on complex initiatives.
• Contribute to a wide variety of projects including national/international locations.
• Provide technical guidance and build strong client relationships; mentor junior team members.
