Job summary

Arup Australia seeks a Senior Mechanical Engineer specializing in data centres to lead design and delivery of mission-critical mechanical systems in Sydney. You will work with multidisciplinary teams and global clients to deliver resilient and sustainable solutions for hyperscale and retrofit projects.

You will mentor engineers and drive project delivery from concept through commissioning, contributing to Arup’s growth in the Australasian data centre market.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience delivering mechanical building services projects within a consulting engineering environment.
• Exposure to data centres, mission-critical facilities or complex technical buildings is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design and delivery of mission-critical mechanical systems for data centre projects.
• Take ownership from concept to construction and commissioning, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams and global clients.
• Provide technical leadership within Arup's Data Centre business, mentoring engineers and shaping best practice.
• Work across new-build hyperscale facilities, campus expansions, upgrades and retrofits, covering full lifecycle.
