Job summary

Arup, Sydney, is seeking an Electrical Engineer to join the team and contribute to electrical design for data centre and mission-critical projects. You will develop design capability, gain project exposure, and advance consulting experience within a global multidisciplinary firm.

Salary is $85k to $95k plus superannuation, with opportunities for hybrid work and career growth as you collaborate with experienced engineers and project leaders on high-quality outcomes.

Qualifications

• A recognised tertiary qualification in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline.
• 3+ years of experience in electrical engineering within a consulting or design environment.
• A sound understanding of electrical building services systems.
• Exposure to industry-standard electrical engineering software and design tools.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the design and documentation of electrical systems, including power distribution, lighting, earthing, and communications.
• Prepare calculations, drawings, and technical documentation in accordance with relevant standards and project requirements.
• Coordinate with other disciplines to support integrated design outcomes.
• Participate in design reviews, technical discussions, and internal coordination meetings.
• Support site activities such as inspections, commissioning support, and responding to technical queries.
