Job summary

Acciona in Perth is seeking a Mechanical Engineer for a 6-month contract, offering hands-on project engineering and operations support within a busy WA engineering function. You will work with operations and maintenance teams to deliver practical, high-quality engineering solutions on site in the Perth CBD.

Key tasks include conveyor design for expansion projects (Sidewinder preferred), pneumatic systems, conveyor skirt design, throughput assessments and coordinating external contractors.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering required.
• Experience in process plants, materials handling or industrial environments.
• Strong operations and maintenance exposure.

Responsibilities

• Design conveyors for expansion projects.
• Design pneumatic systems including hygiene air systems.
• Review conveyor skirt designs and run technical reviews.
• Support operations and maintenance with engineering solutions.
• Coordinate external contractors and service providers.
