ASC is Australia’s submarine company. We built the Royal Australian Navy’s Collins Class submarines, sustain them, and are now delivering their Life of Type Extension to increase the boats’ service lives. ASC is seeking Mechanical Designers / Drafters across all seniority levels to join our Platform Design team. In these roles you will apply your mechanical expertise to deliver high‑quality design and drafting solutions to support the integration of new and updated designs across a wide range of submarine systems. Candidates with a relevant Trade background are strongly encouraged to apply, as these roles present a great pathway into engineering.
This role requires a current National Police Clearance, an Australian Defence Security Clearance and the ability to access protected US defence technology. Your eligibility for this role is dependent on obtaining and maintaining such clearances and approvals. Applicants holding nationality of certain foreign countries will not be eligible.
