Job summary

Downer is seeking a Construction Superintendent for our Utilities Water team, supporting Chambers Flat Wastewater Treatment Plant works. You will oversee construction activities, manage site teams and subcontractors, and ensure safety, quality and schedule alignment across the project.

Reporting to the Construction Manager, you will drive constructability input, develop capability on site and build strong stakeholder relationships to deliver critical water infrastructure in Australia.

Qualifications

• 10+ years project delivery experience in Water/Wastewater (SEQ)
• Experience managing subcontractors, schedules and quality in project delivery
• Strong leadership and frontline management capability

Responsibilities

• Oversee project coordination, scheduling and allocation of resources, subcontractors, plant and materials
• Lead site teams to ensure safe, compliant and on-time delivery
• Drive Zero Harm culture and safety for crews and public
