Job summary

Downer Group is seeking an experienced Construction Manager to oversee on-site delivery of water infrastructure in Victoria in an electrical capacity. You will lead field teams, manage daily operations, and drive a Zero Harm safety culture while coordinating with clients and internal stakeholders to meet milestones.

The role requires trade or tertiary qualified electrical/mechanical licences and a Certificate IV in WH&S, with strong civil project experience and excellent communication skills.

Qualifications

• Experience in water, power transmission or substation projects.
• Solid civil project experience considered a plus.
• Strong communication skills for engaging stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Lead field teams and subcontractors to deliver milestones safely and on time.
• Manage day-to-day site operations including planning, scheduling and documentation.
• Champion a Zero Harm safety culture on site.
• Coordinate with internal stakeholders and clients for smooth delivery.
