Airservices Australia is seeking a Senior Mechanical Engineer to lead design, delivery, testing and commissioning of critical mechanical infrastructure for national aviation facilities. You will guide a team of engineers, review consultant designs, and ensure compliance across the project lifecycle. The role offers hybrid work arrangements and locations in Melbourne or Brisbane, reporting to the Project Engineering Team.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of mechanical building services experience is required.
• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• State-based registration (e.g. RPEQ/RPEV) or ability to obtain registration.
• Strong knowledge of HVAC, ventilation, heating, and related systems.

Responsabilités

• Lead mechanical building services projects from concept to construction and commissioning.
• Provide technical leadership and guidance to a team of engineers.
• Review designs with external consultants to ensure Airservices requirements are met.
• Support project managers to meet scope, budget, and schedule.
• Communicate project status and risks to senior management.
