Job summary

Pace Vic in Melbourne is recruiting for an experienced Senior Trader / Export Sales Manager to drive growth in the Meat division for a privately owned, market-leading trading partner. You will lead strategic sales planning and build global market access with autonomy and support from an expert team.

You will manage international trade across multiple markets, travel regularly to meet key customers, and ensure compliance with trading terms and regulations while delivering sustained profit growth

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience in International Trade.
• At least 3 years trading experience within the Meat industry.
• Thorough understanding of international trading terms and risk management.
• Willingness to travel across Australia and overseas.

Responsibilities

• Prepare annual personal sales forecast and develop market strategies to achieve profit targets.
• Identify and develop trade opportunities to global markets where Australian and International origin meat gain access.
• Build strong relationships with a broad range of buyers, sellers and other third parties.
• Leverage knowledge / experience to grow deeper and wider relationships in customer’s organisation.
• Set a productive travel schedule to enable regular face-to-face meetings with key customers.
• Achieve profit growth targets.
• Ensure all international contract terms and trading regulations are observed at all times.
