Job summary

Moira Shire Council in Victoria, Australia, seeks a Senior Project Manager for the Tom St Precinct Project (2-3 years contract). The role leads master planning, service planning, and governance across planning, engineering, asset management and building surveying to determine future community use and business case viability.

Qualifications

• Tertiary qualifications in urban or town planning, architecture, project management or a related field, or substantial relevant experience.
• Substantial experience developing master plans, service plans, precinct plans, policy options and capital investment recommendations in a complex stakeholder environment.
• Advanced knowledge of municipal community infrastructure planning, design standards, project development and asset or capital planning.
• Ability to analyse complex issues, develop evidence-based options and provide authoritative specialist advice to senior management, PCB and Council.
• Strong project, consultant, budget, risk and procurement management skills from concept through to business case and implementation.
• Highly developed consultation, facilitation, negotiation and written communication skills.
• Ability to manage competing priorities and deliver high-quality strategic planning and design outputs within scope, time and budget.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage master planning and service planning for the Yarrawonga site redevelopment, guiding project from site stabilisation to Master Plan, Service Plan and Business Case.
• Oversee site governance, stabilisation, stakeholder and community engagement, and cross-functional coordination across planning, engineering, asset management and building surveying.
