Job summary

Moira Shire Council invites a senior urban planning professional to lead master planning, service planning, and the Yarrawonga Primary School site redevelopment. You will guide due diligence through to a ready Master Plan and Business Case that shapes our community’s future.

Collaborating across planning, engineering, asset management and building surveying, you’ll ensure governance, provide specialist advice, and report to the Project Governance Structure.

Qualifications

• Tertiary qualifications in urban or town planning, architecture, project management or a related field, or substantial relevant experience.
• Substantial experience developing master plans, service plans, precinct plans, policy options and capital investment recommendations in a complex stakeholder environment.
• Advanced knowledge of municipal community infrastructure planning, design standards, project development and asset or capital planning.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the master planning and service planning process for the redevelopment of the former Yarrawonga Primary School site, guiding the project from due diligence to a confirmed Master Plan, Service Plan and Business Case.
• Coordinate across planning, engineering, asset management and building surveying disciplines, ensuring progress within approved scope, program, budget and governance.
