The Onset in Sydney is seeking a Senior Business Analyst to join its Risk Technology function within a global financial services environment. The role sits in the Risk Reporting team and works with the Product Owner, development team and stakeholders to define requirements and translate complex risk needs into clear technology solutions.

Qualifications

• Solid Business Analysis experience within financial services.
• Experience across Market Risk, Risk Reporting or Risk Technology.
• Ability to work with senior stakeholders and translate business needs to tech requirements.
• Comfort with data-heavy environments and complex risk data.

Responsibilities

• Partner with Market Risk and Risk Reporting stakeholders to understand business needs.
• Gather, challenge and document requirements for technology delivery.
• Translate risk requirements into clear specifications for engineering teams.
• Map data flows, systems and dependencies across the Risk environment.
• Support changes to Risk Reporting systems and processes.
• Collaborate with developers through delivery, testing and implementation.
