Job summary

Leisure Coast Boat Sales in NSW seeks a Marine Technician / Service Manager to service, diagnose, repair and maintain boats, outboard motors and marine systems while overseeing day-to-day workshop activities. Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Marine Technician, Automotive Mechanic or similar.
• Strong knowledge of outboard motors/inboard and marine systems.
• Excellent diagnostic and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Carry out servicing, diagnostics, repairs and maintenance on boats and outboard motors.
• Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical and marine systems.
• Conduct pre-delivery inspections and boat preparation.
• Install and troubleshoot marine electronics, accessories and equipment.
• Manage workshop schedules, jobs and customer service requirements.
• Coordinate service and repair work with suppliers and external contractors where required.
• Prepare job estimates and communicate repair requirements with customers.
• Maintain accurate service records and job documentation.
• Ensure workshop safety, cleanliness and organisation.
• Assist with boat commissioning, detailing and delivery preparation.
