Job summary

Adventure Marine QLD is seeking a Technical Lead to join our marine service team. You’ll stay hands-on on the tools while providing leadership, guidance to technicians and apprentices, and taking the lead on diagnostic work and repowers.

You’ll work closely with the Workshop Manager, own complex jobs, and help ensure high standards of workmanship across marine electrical work, rigging, and installations. Relocation packages are considered for the right candidate, with a 9-day fortnight and

Qualifications

• A relevant trade qualification and strong marine mechanical experience.
• Excellent diagnostic and fault-finding skills.
• Experience with outboard servicing, repairs and repowers.
• Strong knowledge of 12V marine electrical systems.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership, advice and troubleshooting support.
• Support and backup to the Workshop Manager when required.
• Complete scheduled servicing and maintenance.
• Advanced fault-finding and diagnostic repairs.
• Take ownership of complex or challenging technical jobs.
• Mercury repowers, rigging, setup, commissioning and testing.
