Job summary

Carpentaria is a not-for-profit organisation delivering disability and therapy services in Darwin. The Senior Manager Clinical & Therapeutic Practice ensures therapeutic services meet standards and legislation, while promoting trauma-informed, culturally responsive care for children and young people in care.

The ideal candidate will have a tertiary qualification in Social Work or Psychology, registration with a relevant body, and at least 5 years in OOHC with 2 years in a senior role.

Qualifications

• Tertiary qualification in Social Work, Psychology, or a related human services discipline.
• Registration with AASW, AHPRA, or equivalent preferred.
• Minimum 5 years in OOHC or child & family services; at least 2 years in senior therapeutic or management role.

Responsibilities

• Ensure therapeutic services meet legislative requirements, organisational standards and best-practice frameworks.
• Champion trauma-informed, culturally responsive, strengths-based practice.
• Support teams to deliver high-quality care that promotes safety, connection and long-term wellbeing for children and young people.
