Job summary

Transport for NSW is seeking an IT leader to drive critical operations technology for the Transport Management Centre (TMC). You will lead and evolve complex systems and platforms, guiding teams across development, service delivery, technical analysis and product management to deliver reliable, scalable solutions.

You will champion TMC technologies and collaborate with operations to improve performance and resilience, building long-term capability in a real-time, safety-critical environment

In this role, you'll:

Working as part of a team delivering critical operations technology for the Transport Management Centre (TMC), you’ll lead the technology that keeps NSW moving safely and efficiently.

This role will see you own and evolve a suite of complex systems and platforms, leading teams across application development, service delivery, technical analysis and product management to ensure solutions are reliable, scalable, and future-ready. You’ll champion TMC technologies and work closely with operations teams to identify ways to continuously improve their performance and resilience.

You will lead and shape technology platforms, building reliability, innovation, and long-term capability in a real-time, safety‑critical environment where system performance and continuity are non‑negotiable.
