Job summary

Macquarie Group in Sydney is seeking a Senior Manager to lead Technology Risk and Identity Access Management within Finance, People and Engagement. You will provide risk oversight, advise and challenge across IAM activities, partner with business and technology teams, and drive improvements in controls and compliance.

The role requires 10+ years in technology risk or cyber security, strong IAM experience, and exceptional communication to translate complex risk concepts into business terms.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in technology risk, cyber security, information security, identity and access management, operational risk or technology controls.
• Experience in identity and access management, identity governance, privileged access management or access control risk.
• Strong understanding of risk management and controls, including risk treatment, control effectiveness, residual risk and risk acceptance.
• Experience reviewing assurance findings, remediation plans and control effectiveness assessments, with the ability to provide constructive challenge and influence stakeholders.

Responsibilities

In this role you will act as the identity access management risk specialist within Finance, People and Engagement, providing risk advice, oversight and constructive challenge across identity and access management activities. You will partner with business, technology and governance teams to identify, assess and manage risks, support remediation activities, and help ensure controls and compliance obligations remain effective and well understood. You will have the opportunity to influence risk outcomes across a broad portfolio of technology and access management initiatives while driving continuous improvement in risk capability.
