Job summary

UBank invites an accomplished senior leader in Procurement & Supply Chain to drive sourcing for IT, SaaS, cloud, security and enterprise platforms within its technology and digital strategy.

You will advise Executives, uplift commercial capability, strengthen supplier risk controls, and embed compliant-by-design procurement practices aligned to CPS 230/234. This Sydney-based permanent role offers hybrid work, collaboration across Technology, Risk, Security, Finance and the business.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in strategic sourcing, procurement or commercial management specialising in IT categories (SaaS, cloud, applications, security, payments).
• 5+ years in financial services with deep knowledge of CPS 230 and CPS 234, including experience leading remediation and strengthening supplier risk controls.
• Proven negotiation capability with a track record of delivering complex commercial outcomes and long-term value.
• Experience managing supplier performance and driving continuous improvement.
• Strong business partnering skills, influencing senior leaders and shaping strategic outcomes.
• Proficient in procurement systems (e.g. SAP Ariba) and contemporary sourcing methodologies.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end sourcing for critical digital and technology capabilities including SaaS, cloud, security, and enterprise platforms.
• Develop multi-year category strategies that optimise commercial value, supplier performance and risk.
• Run competitive sourcing events and negotiate complex IT agreements balancing cost, performance, innovation and customer outcomes.
• Lead tender evaluations, commercial modelling and contract structuring to support executive decision-making.
• Deliver measurable value through cost optimisation, commercial improvements and risk reduction.
• Ensure sourcing activities comply with CPS 230 and CPS 234 requirements.
• Build strategic supplier partnerships focused on accountability, innovation and resilience.
• Act as a trusted advisor to senior leaders across Technology, Risk, Security, Finance and the business.

About the role:

As a senior leader in Procurement & Supply Chain, you will drive high-impact sourcing initiatives that enable Ubank's technology, customer and digital strategy.
