Job summary

Armidale Regional Council seeks a Manager Land Use Planning to lead the strategic land use planning function and manage a team of four planning professionals. You will oversee review and amendment of Local Environmental Plan, Development Control Plan and Local Strategic Planning Statement.

You will provide expert advice to Council and the Executive Leadership Team, contribute to strategic and corporate planning, oversee budgets and performance measures, and represent Council at meetings,

Qualifications

• Strategic thinker with strong leadership capabilities in planning.
• Experience guiding complex land use planning initiatives.
• Ability to communicate clearly with senior leaders and stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Lead Council's strategic land use planning function and manage a team of four planning professionals.
