Job summary

The role focuses on devising, implementing and managing innovative internal, external and stakeholder communication strategies to raise awareness and support LGIRS programmes and policy work.

Qualifications

• Experience leading organisational communication teams.
• Ability to devise and manage internal, external and stakeholder comms strategies.
• Experience in crisis communication and reputation management.

Responsibilities

• Provide direction and leadership to the Strategic Communications team.
• Develop and implement innovative communication strategies.
• Coordinate central reporting and liaise with internal stakeholders, Ministerial and communication staff.
• Mentor and coach team members.
• Support the department's policy work and brand messaging.
