Job description

Shape how risk works across HCF. Lead the frameworks that guide better decisions, strengthen governance and support our future growth. This is an opportunity to step into a highly influential role where you'll help shape how risk management is embedded across HCF. As Senior Manager, Risk Frameworks, you'll be responsible for maintaining and continuously improving HCF's enterprise risk management framework. You'll ensure our policies, standards and risk practices remain practical, fit for purpose and aligned to both our strategy and regulatory obligations. Working closely with senior leaders and specialist risk teams, you'll bring consistency across a range of risk disciplines including operational, technology, data, product and pricing risk. A key part of the role is making sure risk management expectations are clear, well understood and add value without creating unnecessary complexity. You'll also play an important role in strengthening how risk information is captured, reported and used across the organisation, helping HCF continue to mature its risk capability and governance practices. If you enjoy influencing at a strategic level, partnering with stakeholders across a business and finding better ways to do things, this is a role where you can make a genuine impact.

About you

You're an experienced risk professional who enjoys building practical frameworks that help organisations manage risk effectively and make informed decisions.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Commerce, Law, Risk Management, Governance, Finance or a related field.
  • Professional certification or postgraduate study in risk management, governance, compliance, audit or related discipline is desirable.
  • Strong experience in enterprise risk management, risk frameworks, governance or a related discipline.
  • A solid understanding of regulatory expectations and contemporary risk management practices.
  • The ability to influence and partner with senior stakeholders across a complex organisation.
  • Experience developing, reviewing or enhancing risk frameworks, policies, standards and methodologies.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to simplify complex concepts and bring people on the journey.
  • A continuous improvement mindset and a passion for lifting risk maturity across an organisation.
  • Most importantly, you'll be someone who can balance strategic thinking with practical outcomes, helping ensure risk management remains effective, consistent and relevant across HCF.
