Job summary

The Hospitals Contribution Fund Of Australia Limited (HCF) seeks a Senior Manager, Risk Reporting & Analytics to lead reporting and insights that help Executive leaders and Board Committees understand HCF’s risk profile and focus on key areas. You will turn complex risk data into clear insights that support informed oversight and decision‑making.

Job description

Turn risk data into insights that matter. Shape Executive and Board conversations and support better decision-making across HCF This is an opportunity to help shape how risk is understood, discussed and acted on across HCF. As the Senior Manager, Risk Reporting & Analytics, you’ll lead the reporting and insights that help Executive leaders and Board Committees understand HCF’s risk profile and focus on the areas that matter most. The role goes beyond producing reports. It’s about bringing information together, identifying emerging trends and themes, and turning complex risk data into clear insights that support effective oversight and decision-making. Working closely with Risk, Legal & Compliance and teams across the broader business, you’ll help ensure risk reporting is accurate, insightful and aligned with HCF’s risk appetite, governance expectations and enterprise priorities. The insights provided will help shape important conversations, giving leaders greater visibility of emerging themes, risk trends and areas requiring attention. There is also scope to improve reporting and analytics, strengthening the quality, consistency and usefulness of information provided to senior stakeholders and governance forums. If you enjoy connecting the dots, asking thoughtful questions and helping leaders make informed decisions, this is a role where your work can make a visible impact across HCF.

About you

You’re a strong analytical thinker with experience in risk reporting, risk analytics, governance or enterprise risk management within a regulated environment. Comfortable working with senior stakeholders, you can turn complex data into meaningful insights, challenge constructively and communicate clearly. Most importantly, you enjoy connecting the dots and using information to support better decision-making.

Skills & Experience

Experience in risk reporting, risk analytics, enterprise risk management, governance or compliance within a regulated environment. Demonstrated experience preparing and reviewing Executive, Board and committee reporting. Strong analytic capability, including identifying trends, correlations and emerging themes and translating data into meaningful insights. Understanding of enterprise risk management, risk appetite, key risk indicators and governance reporting. Strong stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to challenge constructively and influence senior leaders. Excellent written communication skills, including preparing clear and insightful reporting for senior audiences. Experience leading and coaching a small team.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Commerce, Finance, Risk Management, Data Analytics, Governance, Information Systems or a related field. Professional certification or postgraduate study in risk management, governance, compliance, data analytics, audit or related discipline is desirable.
