Job summary

TPG Telecom is seeking a Senior Manager of Cyber Security Architecture to lead the design and governance of enterprise security architecture across multi-cloud environments, modern infrastructure, and business applications.

You will architect security patterns (Zero Trust, Defense-in-Depth), guide a team of security architects, and partner with executive leadership to align security strategy with business goals and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in Information Security and IT Architecture.
• 3+ years in a senior architecture leadership or manager role.
• Experience designing enterprise security solutions across multi-cloud, hybrid infrastructure, Zero Trust, IAM, networks, and enterprise applications.
• Hands-on threat modeling, design risk assessments, and vulnerability architecture reviews.
• Executive communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management to influence cross-functional teams.

• Lead, mentor, and grow a team of Cyber Security Architects.

We are seeking a strategic, visionary, and technical Senior Manager of Cyber Security Architecture to lead the design and governance of our enterprise-wide security architecture. In this role, you will be responsible for defining the security vision, reference models, design patterns, and strategic roadmaps across multi-cloud environments, modern infrastructure, and business applications.

You will act as the principal authority for security design, bridging business requirements with robust security patterns (Zero Trust, Cloud-Native, Defense-in-Depth). The ideal candidate brings extensive technical experience in enterprise architectural governance combined with proven leadership to manage security architects and advise key stakeholders.

You’ll Make Impact By

• Ownership of security design, patterns & blueprints.
• Lead, mentor, and grow a team of high-performing Cyber Security Architects.
• Establish and maintain the Enterprise Cyber Security Architecture framework, reference architectures, design patterns, and threat model.
• Key representative in Architecture Review Board (ARB) to evaluate and approve major technical designs, technology acquisitions, and system integrations.
• Align security architecture strategy with business transformation, digital innovation, and compliance/risk requirements.
• Evaluate emerging technologies (AI/ML security, quantum-safe cryptography, mesh architectures) and run architecture proof-of-concepts.
• Provide expert advice on security posture and risk trade-offs during major organizational changes, M&A integrations, and vendor evaluations
• Serve as trusted advisor to executive leadership, product leaders, and IT on architectural risks and strategic security investments.

What You’ll Bring

• Experience: 10+ years of experience in Information Security and IT Architecture, with at least 3+ years in a senior architecture leadership or manager role.
• Architectural Expertise: Proven track record designing enterprise security solutions across multi-cloud, hybrid infrastructure, Zero Trust, IAM, networks, and enterprise applications.
• Frameworks & Methodologies: Deep knowledge of TOGAF, SABSA, NIST CSF/800-53, MITRE ATT&CK, STRIDE and Zero Trust Architecture patterns.
• Threat Modeling & Risk: Hands-on experience conducting threat modeling, design risk assessments, and vulnerability architecture reviews.
• Leadership & Influence: Exceptional executive communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence cross-functional technical teams.

Preferred Certifications

• Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) or CISSP-ISSAP (Architecture)
• Sherwood Applied Business Security Architecture (SABSA) / TOGAF Certified
• Certified Cloud Security Professional (CCSP)
• AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Professional / Azure Solutions Architect Expert
