Equinix is seeking a Senior Manager to lead Capacity Management for APAC East. You’ll direct a regional team across Australia and Japan to optimize data center space, power and cooling, shaping a unified capacity system and analytics platform.

Your role connects with sales, finance and IT to balance availability with growth goals, while guiding strategic initiatives across multiple countries. You will drive data-driven planning, governance and process improvements, ensuring accurate forecasts

Qualifications

• 7+ years leading teams in data center or similar sectors.
• 10+ years in engineering, project management, operations or manufacturing with continuous improvement focus.
• Excellent verbal and written communication with ability to influence senior leaders.

Responsibilities

• Leads and manages a team of senior Capacity engineers across Australia and Japan.
• Shapes development of a regional system for capacity management and unified analytics.
• Drives data-driven capacity planning, availability and efficiency improvements.
• Collaborates with cross-functional teams to align processes and tools.
• Manages stakeholder relationships with country operations, sales and finance.
• Owns KPI reporting, data quality and capacity forecasts for APAC East.
• Oversees escalation resolution and operational issue handling.
• Supports business cases for capacity investment and expansion plans.
