Veolia in Sydney's Pyrmont base is seeking a Senior Management Accountant to partner with NSW Water operations, strengthening financial performance and enabling informed decisions.

You will own the full financial cycle across multiple sites, including journals, month-end reporting, invoicing, budgets and forecasts, and support governance with stakeholders.

Qualifikationen

• Commercial acumen - understand business drivers and link financial results to operational performance.
• Experience in financial analysis/reporting within a commercial business partnering capacity.
• Effective interpersonal skills, including ability to clarify, resolve issues, time manage and make decisions.
• Stakeholder engagement - ability to communicate at all levels, build relationships and meet deadlines.
• Experience with S4 & TM1 (preferred).
• Membership of accounting bodies (CA/CPA) and current driver's licence.

• Oversee month-end activities, working capital, client billing, balance sheet reconciliations, stocktakes and capex management and reporting.
• Lead P&L reporting, financial analysis and KPI accuracy across NSW Water contracts.
• Monitor financial performance, sharing insights and identifying risks and opportunities.
• Lead annual budget and forecasts, coordinating inputs from various teams.
• Support audits, governance and relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
• Lead financial projects and process improvements, while supporting the team and promoting a safe workplace.
• Manage and support a reporting Assistant Accountant, guiding their day-to-day work and development.

Experience with S4 & TM1 (preferred)

Membership of relevant accounting industry association (eg CA, CPA)
